We will keep you posted about our upcoming Shows in downtown Vancouver this Fall, but first, wanted to thank everyone at Oceanic Plaza for their enthusiasm and helpfulness with our recent Art Shows at 1035 West Pender St. Both shows were very successful and we look forward to being downtown again. In the meantime, our Gallery in Lions Bay is fairing well, but don't forget we give good service and are willing to bring pieces to you if you don't have time to pop up to our gallery.
Michael Tickner continues to be creating famously! The picture above is Michael with the eight foot "M" that was painted for SHAW CABLE. It is being used in the phrase "Together Is Amazing" and we are excited to see the footage on television that also shows Michael Tickner on the tugboat, coming into Coal Harbour to deliver his letter "M". We hope we will be able to give you notice as to when to look for it on tv. He's a natural actor as well as great artist, so I trust that is where our son Richard gets it from! (It's a family affair.)
Dan Varnals has brought us a lovely BOATS IN FALSE CREEK painting which you will see in his collection of work.

LIONS BAY ART GALLERY is a little British Columbian treasure, in the middle of a spectacular scenic drive. At Lions Bay, follow the blue and white highway signs to "Art Gallery". It is located only half an hour from downtown Vancouver or 7 minutes north of Horseshoe Bay on the Squamish / Whistler Hwy. Having said that, the Gallery is more than happy to deliver work to homes or offices for people to see. Lions Bay Art Gallery features a beautiful selection of paintings and prints from the talent of both established and emerging artists and they have the honour of being the only gallery that has Michael Tickner's paintings. The gallery features a wonderful selection of mainly landscape art and it is easy to fall in love with many of the featured works.
